in may 2009, china tong yuan co. ltd. started to involve in a japanese enterprise, enax's plan that advanced and developed electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles in china. doctor ozawa, president of enax gave a high rating on china tong yuan's vision and strength on chinese new energy market, and he was willing to use their proprietary technology to cooperate with china tong yuan co. ltd, develop this project in chinese market.
by the end of november 2009, mr. zheng gui quan, chairman of china tong yuan co. ltd. went to visit their craftsmanship and the latest production equipment of lithium batteries in enax's research center in yonezawa, japan for understanding of enax's research technology and strength in japan. they both agreed on the direction of becoming partners.
in april 2010, mr. ozawa, president of enax invited chairman zheng gui quan to participate in beijing international automotive exhibition. lithium battery researched by enax made its debut in 2010, the 11th beijing international automotive exhibition. the debut attracted attentions of many enterprises, government and media.
